Auto parts retailers are moving in opposite directions on Tuesday, after earnings reports from Advance Auto Parts and AutoZone. Still, there was good news in both companies’ results.

Late Monday, Advance Auto (ticker: AAP) said it earned $3.57 a share on revenue that climbed just over 2% from the same period last year, to $3.4 billion.
